Seattle-Tacoma International Airport serves the cities of Seattle and Tacoma and the greater Puget Sound area in northeastern Washington state. Sea-Tac, as it is known informally, is the 16th largest airport in the United States, handling 33 million passengers a year.
Twenty-seven airlines provide service to and from Sea-Tac. Domestic service is provided by major carriers American, Delta, United, US Airways, Jet Blue and Southwest along with regional carriers Alaska, Frontier, Sky West, Sun Country and Horizon. International service to major cities in Europe, Asia and the Middle East is provided by Air Canada, All Nippon Airways, Asiana, British Airways, Condor, Emirates, EVA Air, Hainan, Korean Air and Lufthansa.
